Isaac's Market Simulator ("the App") is an educational stock-trading simulator. We respect your privacy and collect only what is necessary to provide the service.
The App requires a free account to use. When you sign up, authentication is handled by Clerk, which may collect your email address and, if you choose a social sign-in method (Google or Apple), a name associated with that account. We use this information solely to authenticate you and to sync your portfolio across your devices. We do not track your location and we do not run advertising trackers inside the App.
Your simulated portfolio, watchlist, and settings are stored on our servers so they can sync across the web app and the iOS mobile app. On mobile, a local cache is also maintained in your device's secure storage for offline use. You can share a text summary of your portfolio at any time using the in-app "Share Portfolio" feature.
The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is required for authentication.
Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription at $1.95/month or $20/year. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you subscribed in the mobile app, you can manage or cancel at any time in your Apple ID account settings. If you subscribed on the website, you can manage or cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription, which opens our secure billing portal. In all cases you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
